Was craving for ja Jang myun and found this place in the area and it did not disappoint me. Place is small but the noodles are great. I got the regular ja jang myun and the spicy seafood soup with noodles. The bean sauce on the noodle is amazing, and it was cheap as well. The spicy seafood is pretty spicy so if you can't handle spicy, I don't recommend it. I like spicy so it was fine for me to eat it.
Food - 5/5
Price - 5/5
Service - 5/5 -

Food was very bland. Jja jang myun and tang soo yook was very bland--something with the sauce was lacking flavor. My bf got Jjam Pong and as someone who eats everything bland, he had to add salt to it.
Service was ok. The waitress asked us if we wanted more banchan, I said yes, but she did not seem happy by my answer as she let out a sigh. Needless to say, we sat next to the kitchen window so we were constantly disturbed by the loud sound of the worker who kept banging the dough on the table.
If you're looking for cheap Korean/Chinese food and are craving it like crazy, this place will do. -

The food was decent, but we were so upset with the service that I had to give a 2 star review which is very rare for me as a Yelper.
We were a big table of 8 and at least in the beginning we ordered and got waters for everyone. Then the entrees came out (tangsooyook and kkanppoonggi) which were very tasty and I appreciated how the sauce in the tangsooyook wasn't completely drenching the meat. I could still feel the crispy texture so that was great.
Then we got our noodles. I asked our waitress for 2 bowls so that we could share our food. She just stared at us blankly and was like "o...k..." and then came back with 1 bowl. So I said "Oh, can we have another one?" and again she just stared at me looking slightly irritated, rolled her eyes and went to get another one.
Now this is about 30 min into our meal and not once did anyone come to fill our waters, so everyone's water cups were empty. So I called over the waitress again to ask for water. She looked at my cup, sighed and brought back a pitcher. She only filled mine and walked away. So I had to call her over again, during which she sighed and then just placed the pitcher on our table saying "just use this for everyone". I really didn't know it was so difficult to go around and refill waters every 10-15 min... the place really wasn't that busy at that time so I didn't understand what was going on.
Finally, we finished our meal and two of us had leftovers. So I asked for 2 containers and 2 bags. She frowns and with attitude turns around and - you guessed it - brought back 1 container and 1 bag. When I asked for another, she groaned and muttered "Wow really?" and brought us another one.
To clarify, I was speaking Korean to this Korean lady so I really don't understand why there was such attitude and terrible service at a sit down restaurant. This was my first time there but I definitely wont be going back anytime soon since I know there are other places on Broad Ave. -

Really like this spot cuz they sell cheap and simple food.
Everything taste good.
But sometimes staff only speaks Korean and its a bit hard to communicate with.
In addition, I did a take out once and they didnt package the soup properly so when i get home soup was all over the place.(seems like container cover is broken before they put on) -

I've been coming here for almost 7-8 years now and the kitchen staff must have changed recently because they don't taste the same. Jjajang Myun is still good but my favorite Kan Poongi is not the same quality as before (more batter, less meat) and Jjambbong is different as well.
I'm unsure if I'll come back.
